| Required Skills: | The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in Accounting, 10 years of general accounting experience, working knowledge of cost accounting principles and their application, and 5 years experience in completing financial closings and statement preparation. CPA, CMA and supervisory experience (to support future growth) preferred. Knowledge of Accounting software systems and strong Microsoft Office skills will be required. |
| Description: | Responsible for supervising staff members covering typical accounting functions, preparing monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP, report preparation for the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Team, analyzing account activity and maintaining the general ledger and fixed asset systems. Works with the finance team and department managers across the company in developing budgets and financial forecasts including Cash Flow and Balance Sheet projections. Provides documentation and testing of internal controls within the general accounting and payroll processes. Responsible for overall management of accounting processes including cost, payroll, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and tax and treasury transactions. |
