Hiring Process
 

The following steps must be taken to be considered for employment at The Jay Group -
  1. Interested persons must complete an application and/or submit a resume.

  2. After reviewing the application and/or resume, qualified candidates will be contacted by a member of the Human Resources Department for a brief phone screening.

  3. If the applicant continues to meet the qualifications, an initial interview is set up with Human Resources. A further assessment of the applicant's skills may be needed at this time.

  4. If the evaluation is positive, Human Resources then forwards the candidate's application, resume, and assessment results to the hiring supervisor.

  5. The supervisor reviews the information and conducts a second interview.

  6. When the supervisor selects the most qualified candidate, background and reference checks are completed prior to the job offer. Some positions may also require a drug screening.
