Utilizing Manhattan’s ILS advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS), we provide an end to end supply chain solution that starts even before any product arrives at our dock and continues on even after your material arrives at its final destination.

Receiving & Inspection

We hit the ground running the moment your merchandise touches our dock doors through Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASN) and a pre-slotting of items to expedite the physical receipt process. Each and every case and/or pallet receives bar code scan verification against the ASN, so we can immediately communicate with the vendors and clients in the event of a shipment shortage or overage. Based on projects requirements we provide value added services during receiving to include date, lot, expiration coding, serial number capture, and unique quality control inspections.

Scanning & Slotting

Samples from each shipment are put through a process known as Cubi-Scanning, which gives our staff a volumetric measurement of the pallet, master carton, inner carton, pack out, and single unit. This allows us to best utilize the space within our warehouse and place product in locations to optimize replenishment and order fulfillment. Knowing that a program offering may change or experience seasonal peaks and valleys this requires storage assignments to be flexible. Our slotting assignments are reviewed on a monthly basis to account for these fluctuations. We configure our slotting based on order volume and frequency as well as cube utilization, in order to provide the optimal space for each product stored in our facilities.

Storage

Within our warehouse space, you will find a variety of products as well as a variety of methods for storing these products. While some remain on the same pallet they arrived on, others require additional value added services or special handling. We offer secure access areas for high-value merchandise, such as jewelry and restricted items, such as pharmaceuticals. For those products that are temperature sensitive, we provide cold-storage and temperature controlled environments. Our high-volume quick-pick module offers both case and pallet storage for direct to consumer and small parcel shipments, while our bulk storage zones allow for wholesale distribution and fulfillment.
