As CEO and owner of Jay Group, Dana Chryst heads one of the leading marketing and ecommerce fulfillment companies in the United States.

An industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Chryst literally grew up with Jay Group. The daughter of founder J. Freeland Chryst, she got her start with the company as a child, and was even featured in client ads.

Officially joining Jay Group as an account executive in 1981, Chryst went on to learn every facet of the business until ultimately becoming president in 1991. In 2000, after purchasing the controlling interest in the company, she assumed the role of CEO from her father.

Today, Jay Group represents many industry-leading companies including Bosch, CertainTeed, Donnelley Financial Solutions, Ingram Micro, iRobot, Isagenix, Johnson & Johnson, Lane Labs, Lockheed Martin, PetNovations, Rational USA, Trex, and World Kitchen.

Under her leadership, Jay Group has been recognized as one of Inc. 5000’s Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in America. The company was also named one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania for four years in a row. Additionally, Jay Group has been named a Top 3PL by editors of Multichannel Merchant for the past three years in a row.

An active community member, Dana has been the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Athena Award and both the American Heart Association’s and Lancaster YMCA’s Volunteer of the Year Award. Dana has also received honorary degrees from Millersville University (Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters) and Elizabethtown College (Honorary Doctor of Business Administration).

On the business front, Dana was recognized with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Pennsylvania Top 50 Women in Business.
